We build websites and web apps, then we keep them running.
We’re axi0, a six-person studio. Most of what we make is Rails or React on a Linux server behind a CDN, and we tend to do all of it: the code, the server, the deploy script and the nightly backup. Below are four recent projects. Each has its own page about how it was built, with one part you can click through.

Capabilities
-
01
Full-stack web
Rails or React from front to back: the page, the API behind it, the database, and the server with a CDN in front.
-
02
Mobile apps
Expo and React Native builds that ship to iOS and Android from one codebase, talking to the same API.
-
03
Infrastructure
We write the deploy scripts and set up the backups ourselves: one ARM server, a CDN in front, a backup every night.
-
04
Hosting and maintenance
We keep it running after launch: monitoring, patches, and the small fixes a live site always needs.
-
05
Marketing and growth
An in-house team of three: landing-page tests, paid media, copy, and brand direction that travels with the product.
Work
-
01
BigSkyEats
A food-delivery platform of our own: a Rails 8 API with an admin console, an Expo mobile app, and PostgreSQL with PostGIS for places and zones.
2025–26 -
02
RegenerateLife
An information site for people in the U.S. who are reading up on regenerative medicine, with a staff console behind it that follows each inquiry through to an introduction.
2026 -
03
Fracture By Design
The new storefront of ROTEM THE LABEL. The design is hers; we rebuilt it as a static site wired to her Shopify checkout.
2026 -
04
RegenerateMX
The bilingual website of a concierge business in Cancún, written in React and prerendered so every page arrives as finished HTML, in English and in Spanish.

How we work
We work on the whole path a request takes.
A typical job covers the page, the API behind it, the database, and the server with a CDN in front. We write the deploy scripts and set up the backups ourselves. Every case study on this site follows the same five steps.
-
The problem
We start with what’s actually broken or missing: the existing system, the records, and the way inquiries get lost today.
-
The constraints
Budget, timeline, the server it has to live on and the people who’ll run it after us. We write these down before any code.
-
What we built
The page, the API, the database and the deploy script. We tend to do all of it ourselves, end to end.
-
How it works
Every number on this site comes from the projects’ own records or from a measurement we took and dated.
-
What broke and what changed
We check forms by filling them in and submitting them in a real browser, because that’s the test a lost inquiry would have failed.
The RegenerateLife page has the story behind that last sentence.
Team
Three engineers and a marketing team of three.
The engineers write the code and run the servers. Marketing is a separate team that works in-house with us.
